About:
Passing Clouds Works is a new arts space situated in Dalston, East London, providing a space for exciting art and music events, meetings and social extravaganzas, as well as a place to escape from life's treadmill and find inspiration in your work or play in comfortable and stylish surroundings.
We have regular music nights on a Friday and Saturday, as well as a film night every Sunday, where we invite well respected figures in the Bristish film industry to come and introduce their favourite film to a receptive audience. As part of this night we're looking to show 2 or 3 short films before the main feature. Right now I'm looking for contacts that I can source good short films from. We will be showing a diverse collection of films in the coming weeks, and we hope to programme a series of shorts that will compliment the range of genres and themes that they represent. The director of the short would benefit from exposure to a receptive audience, as well as the figure from the film industry in evidence that day.


Mission:
Our mission is to bring artists from many different disciplines together under one roof, where they can exchange ideas and learn from one another.
Our mission for the film nights is to showcase new, talented directorrs in the form of their short films, and to educate a wider audience about a classic vintage film.
